Residential Services
Common Ground offers three residential programs supporting youth, ages 10-22, in crisis. Programs range from a two-week program to subsidized apartment housing and may include:
• Care and supervision
• Counseling
• Independent living skills
• Mentoring
• Education and career assistance
Youth Residential Services
The Sanctuary—3-week voluntary residential counseling program for youths ages 10-17, with a focus on family reunification.
A Step Forward—transitional living housing for homeless youths ages 16-20 for up to 18 months.
Graduated Apartment Program—subsidized apartment living for up to two years for homeless youths ages 17-22. Residents must maintain employment and an education plan.
Additional Residential Services include:
Leasing Assistance Program –provides adults who are homeless and classified as low income based on federal poverty standards, with housing subsidies, counseling and case management. The program is designed to reach each client where they are and help them develop a greater level of self sufficiency, interpersonal skills and housing readiness.
